'light exists in so far as shadow does, that's what enables it to parade its majesty and power'
Tadao Ando

I am an English registered architect and fine art architectural photographer working at the architectural firm Snøhetta in Oslo, Norway.

My interests explore the relationship between architecture and photography and developed whilst studying photography and etching.

I have completed a number of photographic commissions for the architectural practice Snøhetta, AL_A as well the engineering firm Yolles (Halcrow Yolles).

Over a period of years I have been developing a number of personal photographic projects such as the 'Boundaries' series that was published in the American fine art photography magazine B&W (Issue 71).

In 2013 I was the winner of the Architects Journal, Philips Light Shots short film competition with fellow architect Michael Wetmore.  The 60 second film is a composition of moments of night light encountered on the everyday journey.  In the same year I also had  two photographs shortlisted in the UK architectural magazine, Building Design Magazine, Architects Eye Competition.

I can be contacted on the below details regarding architectural or photographic commissions and the purchase of limited edition prints.
